Fuel prices too high to buy

Fuel consumption has decreased over 15% since the recession, according to the AA.

The motoring organisation say that petrol sales alone are down 1.7billion litres on three years ago.  This statistic suggests that the Treasury may have lost out on almost £1 billion in fuel duty.

The study released last week also mentions how this has benefited supermarket sales of petrol but independent retailers are down. Is this true for Canterbury though? and how has it affected local motorists?
