Canterbury students cause no 'carnage'

Britain's most notorious pub crawl passed through Canterbury on Tuesday night without any drama.

'Carnage UK' has become popular for running cheap alcohol events for students.

Unlike other cities and universities in the UK, students escaped any trouble or arrests for drink related incidents according to Canterbury Police.

After being founded in 2007, the binge-drinking event has developed a poor reputation nationally since 2009.

This after a student from Sheffield urinated up a war memorial, causing outrage in the press.

However, students of Canterbury were seen to represent the city well.
